The Rockstar Collective (RSC) in collaboration with The People's Association have announced a three-weekend (June 7-22) music festival paying homage to those who tirelessly maintain and promote the local music scene.
Called the 100 Bands Festival, the event will feature musicians like electronic veteran The Analog Girl, emotive punk rock four-piece Kate of Kale, singer soultress Michaela Therese, funk vocalist Tim De Cotta and alternative rock band Monster Cat. Check the poster below for the full lineup.
There will also be merchandise and food stalls set up.
As part of a revival effort, as well as to make a point of their tenacity, the RSC organised this behemoth of a concert just a month after the closure of their previous residence, Home Club.
The event will be held on the weekends of June 7-8, June 14-15 and June 21-22 at the former Hougang South Bus Interchange, now called Kovan Hub. Admission is free. Visit the 100 Bands Festival Facebook event page for more info.
