Miss Igor's? These secret theatre dinners may be your closest betIt's no secret that one way businesses avoid paying exorbitant rental fees here is by going pop-up.  Pop-up bars, parties, restaurants, shops — there's one of these happening almost every weekend in Singapore.  But these so called "secret dinner" events organised by And So Forth promise to bring back a concept that seems to have died with the closing of 'Halloween restaurant' Igor's (watch video below) over 10 years ago.  According to the website, The Hideaway is a series of dinners "influenced by the exciting dining sub-culture in London", and comes with a side of theatre.  And So Forth is also looking for people — folks in theatre production and the culinary arts, music professionals, actors, art directors — to collaborate with, making us wonder exactly what they're planning to get up to. The idea also includes keeping the dining location secret until 'The Initiation' message is revealed to participants on the day itself. The Hideaway officially launches May 4 (invite-only), but is open to the public on May 11 and 18, beginning 7pm. Tickets are $125 each from the website.
