Travellers heading to Vietnam will have another way to get there come May 23 when VietJet Air commences daily flights between Singapore and Ho Chi Minh City.
To celebrate the launch of this route, VietJet Air is selling 40,000 seats at just USD2 each (one-way, excluding fees and taxes). The offer is valid for bookings made from 9pm — 1am daily until April 14 (last sale at 1am on April 14), for travel between May 23 and October 31 (excluding public holidays).
The service leaves Singapore at 12:40pm Singapore time (UTC+8) while the flight out of Ho Chi Minh City departs at 8:50am Vietnam time (UTC+7). Flight duration is one hour and 50 minutes.
A popular tourist destination in its own right known for its food, markets, historic buildings and museums, Ho Chi Minh City is also an ideal starting point for a cross-country adventure. VietJet Air operates domestic routes that will take you to the beaches of Da Nang and Phu Quoc, the Imperial City of Hue, the highlands of Da Lat and the bustling streets of Hanoi.
