A motorcyclist was killed in a major accident involving six vehicles in Ang Mo Kio yesterday morning (watch video below).
The 22-year-old Malaysian man was pronounced dead by paramedics at the scene after he, together with his motorcycle, was sandwiched between a tipper truck and a bus. The other vehicles involved were a lorry and two cars.
59-year-old Soh Choon Seng, the tipper truck driver, was arrested in relation to the accident after a brake failure caused his truck to hit the other vehicles that had stopped in front of him at the traffic light on Ang Mo Kio Avenue 1.
Four others, who suffered injuries from the accident, were brought to Tan Tock Seng Hospital. Three have been discharged.
