Photos: Singapore gets 'sakura' season after longest dry spell in a centuryEverytime someone asks us what season it is in Singapore, we only have two options by way of an answer: dry and wet.  Not this time.  We're actually experiencing some sort of a spring season, thanks to the rain that broke the  recent 27-day dry spell. According to the National Parks Board, it is likely that the sudden provision of balanced amounts of sunlight and rain triggered the mass flowering of the Cat's Claw Ivy and Trumpet Trees. Stop beating yourself up for missing Japan's cherry blossom yet again — many of these flowers will last for another week. Use the photos we've collected from around the local interwebs to figure out where you should park yourself this week to experience Singapore's very own 'sakuras'.  Trees in full bloom islandwide! #Singapore's own version of the #sakura #blossoms pic.twitter.com/i2TxzD2aHd — Simply Fabulicious (@SimplyFabTeam) April 7, 2014 Sakura in Singapore?
