A 13-year-old has been arrested for throwing two bricks from Block 116 Jalan Bukit Merah on March 17.
The suspect was arrested at the vicinity of Jalan Bukit Merah on Tuesday following extensive investigations to determine which floor the bricks were thrown from.
A rash act which endangers life or the personal safety of others carries a maximum jail term of six months, and/or a fine of $2,500.
“It is fortunate that there was no casualty in this incident. Police takes a stern view of killer litter and will not hesitate to charge anyone to the fullest for committing such an irresponsible act.", Deputy Assistant Commissioner of Police (DAC) Daniel Tan, commander of Central Police Division, said.
