Completing just one 42km marathon may seem like a distant feat for many of us mere plebeians but not so for martial arts instructor Gerard Lin.
The 32-year-old who goes by the moniker 'Ah Siao', Hokkien for 'crazy', ran not only one, but 31 consecutive marathons in as many days, to raise awareness for bone marrow donation.
He plans to look for a bone marrow donor to match every single one of the 1,300 kilometres he covered for the Bone Marrow Donor Programme.
Two years ago, Lin was in the news for dragging a tyre at the 2012 Standard Chartered Marathon for the same cause.
Lin's incredible feat makes him the first Singaporean to set a record for the most daily consecutive marathons done.
