The viral dashcam video that depicted a motorcyclist getting ploughed into by a speeding white Honda Accord is pretty grim, but at least today brought some good news — the alleged hit-and-run driver has been arrested and the victim is well on the road to recovery.
According to the police, a 51-year-old man was arrested in connection to the accident that transpired early Sunday morning on the Pan-Island Expressway (PIE). Dashcam footage uploaded on the Beh Chia Lor Facebook page horrified many when the car was caught on tape crashing into a motorcyclist from the rear before fleeing the scene. The crash was so severe that the victim's motorbike caught fire later on.
