The seventh edition of Laneway Festival Singapore came and went last weekend, and though it wasn't without its subjective shortcomings, it's fuckin' Laneway, man. You can't go to the country's biggest indie music outing and leave the grounds unsatisfied.
The new year also brought with it dark skies and wet weather — a nostalgic throwback for all the OG cats who frolicked in the mud and rain back in 2011 for its first edition. In true festival fashion, the show had to go on, and it did. Booze was chugged; cigarettes were lit, ramen was slurped up, ponchos were worn and ditched on the ground (shame on you), and, of course, dope music was performed.
