Don Meijin (it directly translates to 'rice bowl professional' in Japanese) is a donburi specialist that serves up bowls of tempura and short grain Japanese rice.
Each tendon dish comes topped with asparagus, pumpkin, fish fillet, eggplant, veggie and seafood kakiage, and prawns — these tempura items are fried at a particular temperature in a water fryer to emerge light and crispy.
