In what sounds like a 'too good to be true' scam, a local app company has actually hidden $800 somewhere on the grounds of Nanyang Technological University. For reals.
Sqkii announced earlier this week that it stashed a 'mouse' worth $800 on the NTU campus, and it's been revealing hints of the money's location ever since. (Okay, so it may not be a box of gold bars or cold hard cash, but it is a shiny little gold coin that you can exchange for $800 in cash.)
If you're feeling a pinch of déjà vu about this, it's probably because Sqkii did the same thing last November at NUS and NTU.
