The weather wizards of Meteorological Service Singapore (MSS) are expecting the next two weeks to be wetter than the first fortnight of the year. Meaning you'll have to prep your galoshes, brollies and raincoats alongside your mandarin oranges and ang paos this upcoming Chinese New Year.
They're no rinky-dink drizzles either. Short-duration thundery showers are to be expected on six to eight days, mostly in the afternoon. On some days, the showers could even extend into the evening.
"Singapore could experience periods of moderate to heavy rain lasting up to two days, accompanied by occasional windy conditions and cooler temperatures," MSS stated in their press release. Yay for sweater weather!
