
Ever tried uni (sea urchin) hotpot? Well, now you can at Japanese restaurant Torikin, which is offering this limited edition hotpot to celebrate its second anniversary and Chinese New Year 2017. The broth is basically rich uni essence mixed into bonito stock, into which you can dip seafood items like prawns, scallops, salmon and tuna — shabu-shabu style. If you need carbs to sustain you, mix the rice into what's left of the soup at the end of the meal for a bowl of uni porridge.
