According to the 2016 Expedia Vacation Deprivation Study, Singaporeans are the fourth most vacation deprived. In the Asia Pacific, that is. We share the same position as Thailand — not that it's anything to be proud of. Although it is a step up from last year, when we came in second.
Over the past year, Singaporeans on average only took 14 out of 18 paid vacation days. As for other countries in the region, Malaysian employees felt the most vacation deprived, but Japanese and South Korean workers took the least vacation days.
