
In the battle for the cheapest fare between Singapore's two major ride-hailing apps, online shopping aggregator iPrice has determined the winner — and apparently, it's Grab.
To nobody's surprise at all, regular taxis were found to be the most expensive option. Sorry, cabbies.
iPrice's research compared the costs of transportation between Uber, Grab and local taxis for each country across Southeast Asia. Pitting data for both short and long rides (5km and 20km respectively), the distance and time costs didn't include surge pricing and discounted fares for fairer calculation.
