When normcore folks see a group of men with studded leather jackets, vibrant mohawks and tattooed knuckles, their reactions are usually negative in nature, already forming a bad impression in their minds of what punks may or may not be.
Too often, people don't see the other side of the picture — when they're not attending DIY punk shows or forming moshpits, they forget that these silver-studded punks are a tight-knit community with strong principles. Just like the punks in Yangon who provide meals to people in need, some in our own punk scene also hold charitable causes close to their hearts.
