Thai Lily Restaurant had just opened their doors for the dinner crowd last night when they got something a little less amiable — a yellow CityCab crashing right through into its premises.
Located near Braddell MRT station, the Thai food joint along Toa Payoh Lorong 1 had its tables and chairs strewn across the restaurant, according to footage of the aftermath caught by The Straits Times. Luckily, the accident occured just when the restaurant opened around 5pm; there were no diners inside when the taxi ploughed into its foyer.
