With e-scooter and e-bicycle usage on the exponential rise here, the Land Transport Authority (LTA) has been moving in quickly to crack down on errant riders.
Since they've stepped up enforcement efforts in May to deter reckless behaviour by users of personal mobility devices (PMDs), over 860 warnings have been issued to those caught riding dangerously on footpaths and cycling paths. 20 electric scooters were confiscated from riders caught riding them on the road.
