Amidst all the good food in Bugis, a cosy Thai eatery sits along Tan Quee Lan Street. Perhaps you're familiar with its name — after all, Sawadee Thai Cuisine has been around for 15 years. That's pretty impressive, given the fickle loyalties of Singaporean foodies and the never-ending new openings popping up on every nook and cranny of the island.
All that said, sometimes you just gotta change with the times. So the restaurant is launching a revamped menu to celebrate its 15th anniversary this month. And don't worry, your favourites like panaeng red curry roast duck, olive fried rice, Thai coconut chicken soup and spicy steamed sea bass still make appearances on the menu.
