Understandably, customers of StarHub's fibre broadband service were well pissed off last night when the system went down yet again — it's the second time the internet got cut off in a span of three days.

The disruption started at about 10pm for most users, and got more widespread across various areas including Woodlands, Toa Payoh, Hougang and Tanah Merah. Complaints and threats to join rival internet service providers came in swift on StarHub's Facebook page even as the broadband operators assured the public that investigations were underway.
