In another depressing case regarding painfully heartless Singaporeans and their disregard towards animal life, non-profit group CATSI came across an old feline discarded like worn out furniture by its former owners.
The incident emerged last week somewhere in the western region of Singapore, where a 19-year-old calico was allegedly left to die by a family at an HDB staircase landing. When confronted, the owner's callous response was that Deepavali was coming, so they needed to clear the cat away from the house. It's even more heartbreaking to see the clearly ill cat, all skin and bones lying uncomfortably on some wet newspaper.
