When we reported a sighting of this wild animal at the Marina Barrage in February, we thought it was a rare occurrence.
On the contrary, wild otter sightings have increased over the years, according to the National Parks Board (NParks), as reported by Channel NewsAsia.
Some other places you can venture out to if you'd like to spot one yourself are Gardens by the Bay, Lorong Halus Wetlands, Lower Seletar Reservoir and Serangoon Reservoir.
CNA also reveals that it's likely the population of wild otters in Singapore have expanded from just a pair in the '90s to about 100 today.
