Your train rides have just gotten a whole lot more interesting — if you take the Downtown Line, that is. Displayed along corridors of six stations are the photography works of 22 artists from Singapore and across the globe. They're all free to view, so you can take your time to stroll through the exhibitions for the next month or so.
This Open Call Showcase is part of the Singapore International Photography Festival, and it's the first time the fest is featuring works of art in MRT stations. Some 584 entries from 48 countries were submitted, and 40 artists from 18 countries were chosen to put up 394 works. Plus, two bonus locations are also involved — Alliance Française de Singapour and the National Library Building.
