Don't worry, the Human Library hasn't got anything to do with horror films, human trafficking or anything of that sort. Hailing from Denmark, the concept has since spread to places like Poland, New Zealand and now Singapore, which will host the local edition this month.
It's basically a library concept, but instead of borrowing books, you borrow real people. These human 'books' come from diverse backgrounds and walks of life, and are available to loan for conversations. They're all pretty cool with sharing their life stories and personal experiences, and you in turn, as the reader, are free to ask questions.
