What was meant to be a straightforward five-minute ride across the bridge from Harbourfront to Sentosa became an unintentional leisure ride around Tanjong Pagar.
Okay, maybe less leisure and more like extreme annoyance. Ngee Ann Polytechnic student, cosplayer and Overwatch enthusiast Regin Ho was nearly two hours late for work because of an Uber driver who didn't seem to know his directions very well. Like dude, it's literally just making a turn at the road with a huge sign that says 'Sentosa'.
Having missed the staff bus on Tuesday morning, the intern opted to hire an UberX to get her across to Sentosa — it would only cost about $5.46, after all.
