You're gonna wanna start digging through your wardrobe after this walk down memory lane. NTUC Income's OrangeAid program has launched a month-long social media campaign to raise funds for the education of needy students, and people are dressing up in school uniforms of their alma maters to participate. For every photo of yourself in uniform (whether you tried it on again and it surprisingly fit or you searched through your old albums), the organiser will donate $1 to help underprivileged children and youth.
To get the ball rolling, NTUC Income got a bunch of prominent local personalities, including bloggers, musicians, creatives, entrepreneurs and even a member of parliament to participate. Perhaps you'll find some of these 15 names familiar — Jack and Rai, Tin Pei Ling, Mr Brown, Andrea Chong... and the list goes on.
