A flight attendant believed to be working for Singapore Airlines (SIA) has been arrested in Bali for allegedly bringing drugs into Indonesia.
The Singaporean national — 42-year-old Goh Thiam Ann Desmond —was found with 1.47 grams of meth and two ecstasy pills on Sept. 30, reports Kompas.
He was caught upon arrival in Bali on Singapore Airlines SQ-948 Singapore to Denpasar while going through customs at Ngurah Rai International Airport.
“The modus operandi is that the packaged goods were concealed in a black wallet. After testing the drugs, (the substances) were identified as methamphetamine and ecstasy,” Head of Ngurah Rai Customs and Excise Budi Harjanto said on Tuesday.
