Inspiration can be found everywhere — even at traditional wet markets. That's where luxe handcrafted leather label Pubumésu was influenced for its A/W 2016 range. Founded in Indonesia in 2011, the Singapore-based label recently debuted its new Market collection at Gallery & Co.
Drawing from the vibrance and chaos of these markets across Southeast Asia, the series features two prominent motifs — the banana leaf and tempeh (fermented soya bean) — as well as fish and banana prints on a selection of calf hide leather bags and fans.
