A Malaysian man who missed a flight from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur stayed in Changi Airport for 18 days, forging boarding passes to enter departure lounges in three different terminals.
The obvious reference to “The Terminal” is obligatory at this point: Tom Hanks would be proud!
The saga started when Raejali Buntut, 32 years old, overslept and missed his 7:05am Air Asia flight to KL.
Over the next 18 days, he then forged 31 electronic boarding passes for Singapore Air and Cathay Pacific to enter lounges including the Dnata Lounge at Terminal 1 and Terminal 3; Sats Premier Lounge at Terminal 1, Terminal 2 and Terminal 3; Plaza Premium Lounge at Terminal 1; Ambassador Transit Lounge at Terminal 2 and Terminal 3; and The Green Market Lounge at Terminal 2.
