Heavily influenced by the likes of Dinosaur Jr, Sonic Youth and the Pixies, British quartet Yuck emerged in 2011 with their solid self-titled debut album — a record drenched in '90s lo-fi indie nostalgia.
Charming us all with loud, fuzzy guitars and irresistibly catchy songs of sweet sorrow, the band made their Singapore debut back in 2012 at Fort Canning Park for the second ever Laneway Festival Singapore. It seemed like they were destined for even more shoegazey greatness, but suffered a stumble to their momentum in 2013 when vocalist/guitarist Daniel Blumberg left the band.
