Three baby doggos — a husky, a schnauzer and a chow chow — were rescued from further cruelty by Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) officers, who found them sedated and stuffed inside a speaker box in a car boot.
The driver — 34-year-old Loh Chee Chiang — had attempted to enter Singapore at 12.55am on Apr 22 through Woodlands Checkpoint. Fortunately, officers found the three live puppies hidden inside a modified compartment and referred them to the Agri-Food & Veterinary Authority.
