Here's another breezy spot to listen to local music — Lepark, the rooftop carpark/restaurant/bar/social space at People's Park Complex. It's re-introducing Lepark Sessions, the live music series curated by Getai Group.
Held every Friday and Saturday evening, the revamped concert concept will feature more up-and-coming acts, each performing for an entire month instead of switching things up every week, so you get more time to check out those that pique your interest.
On the line-up for August are Mars on Fridays and Charlieblouse on Saturdays. The former has been compared to British singer-songwriter Lianne La Havas, while the latter performs in the style of an indie Corinne Bailey Rae.
