With the Land Transport Authority (LTA)'s latest revision to Electronic Road Pricing (ERP) rates, it's best that you don't drive back home on the Central Expressway (CTE) in the evening rush hour.
With effect from Aug 1, the two ERP gantries on the northbound CTE after the Pan Island Expressway (PIE) will have their rates increased by $0.50. At the peak of rush hour, you'll be hit by about $2 every time your vehicle passes through the penny-pinching portal. Ouch.
