Curious to find out what it's like to be a taxi driver? Or perhaps you're interested to see things from their perspective, like how they deal with grumpy or inconsiderate passengers. Well, here's an actual performance that acts out everyday encounters experienced by cabbies.

Titled 'Taxi-On-Call, Stories of Our Taxi Drivers', the series of one-hour plays feature 25 real-life cab drivers acting out their personal heartwarming and hilarious stories for the first time. One of the anecdotes chronicles how the driver cared for his colleague who suffered a stroke.

From July 23 to October 8, the roving performances will pop up at four community locations, including Cheng San Market in Ang Mo Kio and Teck Whye Square in Chua Chu Kang. As part of this year's PAssionArts Festival, which kicked off in mid-June, the shows are free to watch.
