Amidst disrupted train services, hairline cracks and other issues plaguing SMRT, irate commuters have something new to rant about when a sudden waterfall emerged from the roof of a train on Monday evening.
A commuter who spoke to Shin Min Daily News reported that water just started pouring down the ceiling of a train on the East-West Line, drenching everyone nearby throughout the journey. It took place during the evening rush hour, so you can imagine the amount of people getting an involuntary post-work shower on the train.
