
The Peranakan Museum's latest exhibition highlights the art of Nyonya needlework, displaying the traditional Peranakan art of embroidery and beadwork. Browse through a selection that includes intricately-designed wedding slippers and wedding bed valances, as well as day-to-day household objects such as handcrafted belts and beaded handkerchiefs. Also in the exhibition are some of the earliest dated embroidered objects in the world.
