Angered that someone brought a drink aboard the bus — which her father was driving — a woman exploded in anger, leading to an altercation that saw her choking a little girl.
This weird yet violent case transpired at Boon Lay Interchange on the afternoon May 23, when 25-year-old Elizerbeth Chua Hui Ping was on one of her regular trips accompanying her father, who works as an SBS Transit bus driver.
The Straits Times reports that Chua became displeased when she saw a woman boarding her dad's bus, carrying a drink. After scolding her, the woman threw away the drink outside and returned to the bus. Chua however remained upset.
