Getting raided by the police over violating Cooling-Off Day rules isn't an exclusive execution against those who oppose the ruling People's Action Party (PAP) it seems.
Jason Chua Chin Seng — founder of pro-PAP Facebook page 'Fabrications about the PAP'— is under investigations by the police for allegedly violating Cooling-Off Day rules in the recent Bukit Batok by-election. The Facebook page had been accused of deliberately posting content that are deemed election advertising; one of which called on people to vote for PAP candidate Murali Pillai, while another post criticised the opposing Singapore Democratic Party's (SDP) Chee Soon Juan.
It was the People's Power Party's organising secretary Augustine Lee Zixu who made the police report against the pro-PAP Facebook page.
