Distilling the Dance is a concept by locally-based multi-disciplinary artist Kiran Kumar to present dance beyond the frame of performance. From July 2 to 6, watch the essay-performance 'Dear Dead Dancer', check out the audio installation 'There is No Dance', stroll through the 'Expanded Writing' exhibition and participate in the 'Distilling the Dance: Somatic Principles' workshop.
This is the first of three presentations at Centre 42 to focus on the response of homegrown dance-makers to Singapore play-texts.
