Eat for a good cause at relatively new modern Aussie restaurant Cheek By Jowl, which is hosting a fundraising lunch on Sunday to send aid to the people of Sri Lanka, in light of the devastating flood disaster in May. Head chef Rishi and his team will be whipping up a Sri Lankan menu featuring short eats (the Sri Lankan version of tapas) and four to five sharing portions of mains.
Two seatings are available: 11.30am to 1.30pm and 2pm to 4pm. There's a minimum spend of $80++, and all proceeds will go to Foundation of Goodness, a non-profit organisation based in Sri Lanka. Additional donations are welcome as well.
