This year's Singapore Restaurant Month features over 50 healthy, locally-inspired dishes

Healthy eating is the theme of this year's Singapore Restaurant Month. Just how healthy, you ask? Well, each dish has to either be under 500 calories or contain at least eight percent of wholegrains such as oatmeal, brown rice and wholemeal bread. What do you think — too wholesome for your taste or just the right amount for guilt-free indulgence? 

In collaboration with the Health Promotion Board (obviously) and the Singapore Tourism Board, SRM brings together 50 restaurants (24 of which are new to the event) to create over 50 locally-inspired new and signature dishes that all fit the criteria. Cuisines offered include Thai, Japanese, Indian, Korean and a whole lot of Chinese. Plus, all food creations have to be approved by certified HPB nutritionists.
