Yesterday, the Singapore Police Force announced that seven massage parlours were discovered to be running operations without a valid licence. Even worse, it is believed that several of these also offer illegal services.
From January this year, the SPF has been carrying out enforcement operations against massage establishments in areas including Chinatown, Little India, Jalan Besar, Middle Road, Bencoolen Street, Jalan Sultan and Coleman Street, to suss out businesses that defy regulations under the Massage Establishments Acts.
Investigations are underway.
