The National Environment Agency (NEA) has its scopes set on yet another mall with a formidable rat problem. Apparently, Hougang Mall has been host to not one, not two, but five rat burrows on its premises.
This comes after Facebook user Sun Yu Ming managed to capture and upload footage of a huge-ass rat scurrying around the bread section of an NTUC FairPrice supermarket at the nearby Kang Kar Mall. Horrifyingly, several of the bread packages were found ripped open and its contents gnawed at — clearly, rats have been feasting on them for quite some time.
