Teleport yourself to Singapore's night club scenes of the '40s and '50s at Club Malam. This underground world is created just for The O.P.E.N., a pre-event for the Singapore International Festival of Arts. Featuring eight artists from Singapore, Indonesia and Germany, the artsy party will transform the iconic Old Kallang Airport into a dizzying blend of music, performance art and digital installations.
One of the highlights is Speak Cryptic, aka Farizwan Fajari, who will present The Tribe. It's a mind-blowing collaboration with 100 artists to create a series of pop-up interactions including a mobile listening booth with devices, an instant social media wall update, an augmented reality treatment of Speak Cryptic's original artworks by fellow local artist Eugene Soh, and much more.
