The Land Transport Authority (LTA) officer involved in violent fisticuffs with an Uber driver at Victoria Street last year has been slapped with a $2,000 fine as well as a day in jail.
The former traffic warden — 51-year-old Tan Hock Guan — pleaded guilty to two charges of causing affray and swearing at 60-year-old Goh Kok Ling.
