Just in time for the weekend. After a couple days of closure, Parkway Parade mall has reopened its doors to shoppers following rigorous clean-up.
The mall in Marine Parade underwent a four-day hiatus due to a small fire that transpired last Sunday night on the building's second floor. The damage seemed pretty severe enough for the mall's management to put operations on hold — the first and second floors of the mall were reportedly covered in soot and water, while the third to fifth floors had the electricity cut off.
After days of working on reinstating essential cabling for the fire protection system as well as testing and commissioning, the mall announced that its all systems go today.
