Regular party animals of Zouk will have a wee bit more time to revel in Jiak Kim Street, as the iconic nightclub's only moving to Clarke Quay at the end of the year.
Initially targetted for launch at their new digs by June, a spokesperson from Zouk informed Channel NewsAsia that they're only looking to move by end 2016 as of now, declining to reveal the reason why. It is believed however that renovation works have yet to be finished at the new location.
Once they do eventually open, Zouk's new 30,000 sq ft party space is expected to inject some life in the ailing Clarke Quay district.
