In rather polished final year project from 2014 by students of Nanyang Technological University (NTU)'s Wee Kim Wee School of Communications and Information, the unique culture of Potong Pasir's unity and togetherness gets explored in a series of vignettes featuring interviews with its gregarious residents.
Speaking fondly of their neighbourhood's famously tight-knit kampong spirit, folks both young and old attest to just how warm and open the town is, despite not having much amenities as a former longstanding opposition ward. "It's simple, but there's spirit here and that's symbolic of what Potong Pasir is, in my opinion," says one resident.
