The Prime Minister of Singapore himself has issued official compliments to the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) team who handled the collapse of Finance Minister Heng Swee Keat in a recent cabinet meeting.
The widely publicised incident saw the minister collapsing at the Istana last Thursday afternoon, due to sudden stroke. In a letter of commendation sent to the SCDF Commissioner, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong expressed his fervent praise for the medical team that arrived to handle the case, noting how deeply impressed he was by their professionalism.
