Singaporeans will soon have an easier opportunity to appreciate Australia's boundless crop of deadly animals when multi-year visa arrangements between the two countries kick in.
Currently, a visa is mandatory for all visitors — except Australian and New Zealand citizens —regardless of the purpose of the visit. Tourists, students, businessmen and wannabe bogans all need to apply for visas, which are valid for up to one year.
A joint announcement by Australia and Singapore however unveiled that they're working on easier access between both countries.
"Australia and Singapore have agreed in-principle on a tailored multi-year visa arrangement to facilitate travel and entry of Singapore nationals who are pre-vetted by the Singapore government".
